ISO

ISO (International Organization for Standardization) is a world federation of national standards bodies (ISO member bodies). The work of preparing International Standards is usually carried out through ISO technical committees. Any member of the body interested in a subject for which a technical committee has determined is entitled to be represented on that committee. International organizations, governmental and non-governmental, together with ISO are also taking part in the work. ISO cooperates closely with the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) on all matters of electrotechnical standardization.

The adoption of a quality management system is a strategic decision for an organization that can help to improve its overall performance and provide a sound basis for sustainable development initiatives. Currently PT PLN Enjiniring has implemented ISO 9001 in 2015 to support performance improvement.
