PLNE Participates in the Success of Sumatra’s 275Kv Electric Toll Road

PT PLN Enjiniring contributed to the success of the construction of the Sumatran 275Kv Electricity Toll Road which was worked on from 2008 to 2019. This new history was created on June 29 2019 which was marked by the issuance of the Sumatran 275kV Interconnection Feasible Recommendation (RLB).

The Electricity Toll Road project, which is a strategic project, was built and constructed along 2,866 kms stretching from Lahat, South Sumatra to Galang, North Sumatra.

The success of the project is of course due to the solid collaboration between several parties, such as from the PLN Sumatra Regional Business Directorate which oversees the North Sumatra Main Generation Unit (UIP), North Sumatra Regional Main Unit (UIW), PLN Distribution and Load Control Center (P3B). Sumatra, PLN Project Management Center, PLN Certification Center and the entire team of consultants and contractors.

In this project, PT PLN Engineering contributed through the services of Review Design SUTET 275Kv Payakumbuh – Padang Sidempuan, Review Design GITT 275Kv Padang Sidempuan, Review Design GITT 275Kv Payakumbuh, ROW SUTET 275Kv Padang Sidempuan – Payakumbuh and ROW Payakumbuh – Kiliran Jao.

Through his presentation, Hernadi Buhron as Main Director of PLN Engineering hopes that the existence of this toll road can support the electricity system in Sumatra even better.

“Hopefully the Sumatra Electricity Toll Road can operate properly, safely and reliably to support Great Sumatra,” said Hernadi.

Hernadi Buhron also expressed his gratitude to several related parties who have contributed to the success of the Electricity Toll Road project.

“Our thanks go to the Regional Business Director for Sumatra, EVP KRSUM and all staff, General Manager (GM) Regional Main Unit (UIW) North Sumatra and all staff, GM Distribution and Load Control Center (P3B) Sumatra and all staff, EVP PRSUM and team, GM-2 Regional Sumatra, GM Project Management Center, GM Certification Center and the entire team of consultants and contractors,” said Hernadi.
